Taka’s specialty is treatment of autism symptoms from toddler years to adulthood. Prior to earning a doctoral degree in special education from the University of Washington, he worked as a preschool and kindergarten special education teacher and managed an early intervention program in public school settings.

Clinical Director of Speech Language Pathology

Grace was born and raised in Western Washington and loves to call this beautiful state her home. She completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Western Washington University, where she earned her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology. Since 2019, Grace has built her professional experience in the outpatient setting, working primarily in pediatrics, and has a passion for supporting children and families as they seek to develop, improve, or recover communication skills. Over the past year, Grace has discovered the joy of also treating feeding and swallowing disorders. Outside of work, Grace enjoys completing crossword puzzles, playing card games with her husband, caring for their dog, and beautiful Washington summer.
